Edmond Public Library
Edmond, Oklahoma
ddg won the commission to design the library through a design competition held by the city. The design concept expands the existing building with a new children’s reading area, program room, and adult quite reading and group work rooms that create visual interest around the building. Liberty Park, now Shannon Miller Park, was incorporated into the overall master plan to create a “library within the park” atmosphere.
